Adjustment of Status is the process that allows eligible spouses already living in the U.S. to apply for a green card without leaving the country. Instead of consular processing abroad, you stay here while the case is pending — and you can apply for a work permit and advance parole travel document.

Common Questions

Are government fees included?
No. Our $995 is the flat service fee for preparation and guidance. USCIS filing fees are paid separately to the government when you file.
What if USCIS asks for more evidence (RFE)?
If USCIS requests more evidence, we review the notice, tell you exactly what to gather, and show you how to organize and label each exhibit. If you want a fully attorney‑drafted RFE response letter, we offer that as a flat add‑on.
How long does AOS take?
Timelines vary by field office and case facts. Typical milestones: receipts in ~2–3 weeks, biometrics in ~1–2 months, EAD/AP (if eligible) often earlier than the interview, and the interview/decision thereafter. We keep you updated at each step.
Do I need to visit an office?
No. Immigration law is federal, so we serve clients in all 50 states. You can complete everything through our secure online portal. We also offer telephone consultations and video meetings, including interview‑coaching sessions.
What if I entered without inspection?
AOS usually requires admission or parole. Some people may qualify for waivers or different processes (e.g., consular plus waiver, parole‑in‑place in limited contexts). We review your history first and confirm the cleanest path before you spend on filing fees.
